  • BIG NEWS: NCI has been added to the Medicaid Adult Core Health Care Quality Measure Set AND the CMS Medicaid Scorecard website

    Nov 20th, 2019

    This is very exciting!

NCI has been added to the Medicaid Adult Core Health Care Quality Measure Set AND the CMS Medicaid Scorecard website

The Core sets are tools states can use to measure quality of healthcare provided to Medicaid recipients. The addition of this measure will allow CMS and states to expand measurement of quality of care in Medicaid to long term services and supports (LTSS). See more info here.

The CMS Medicaid Scorecard reports on states’ use of three experience of care surveys administered to long-term services and support (LTSS) beneficiaries. Surveys included in the count are:

    • CAHPS Home and Community-Based Services Survey (HCBS CAHPS)
    • National Core Indicators In-Person Survey
    • National Core Indicators for Aging and Disabilities (NCI-AD)
